(부산=NSP통신 허아영 기자) = (NSP글로벌리틀뉴스 권준혁) = The revered historian 신채호 once said, “A nation that forgets its past cannot revive.” As this famous saying implies, the history of one country is the identity of an ethnic group. Today we will explore Busan Museum where one can vividly experience the history of Busan.
Busan Museum opened its door in 1978 and through renovation it became what it is today.
Here, artifacts from prehistoric period, the era of the Three States, the Goryeo and Chosun Dynasty, and modern times are exhibited according to time periods.
Miniature figures that embody the sceneries of the past give you an opportunity to vibrantly learn the past with time sequence.
As many historically valueless collections are displayed here at Busan Museum,
you can enjoy the delight of directly witnessing the treasures that you only saw in textbooks.
동래관 which holds the history of prehistoric to Goryeo era of 동래, the most historically significant part of Busan, attracts much interest as it exhibits artifacts previously inaccessible to the general public.
Many people are excited about the prospect of 부산관 which is to exhibit articles from 조선 era to modern times, and to show the unique culture, tradition, and history of Busan.
As you see, Busan Museum is a place of rich history and culture of our ancestors.
While it is nice to enjoy a sunbath on the 해운대 learning little about history will be a valuable experience for anyone visiting Busan.
