(Seoul=NSP NEWS) = Emro, a Korean AI-based supply chain management software company, has registered a patent for AI(artificial intelligence) technology in Japan.

The patent right that has been registered through the Japan Patent Office this time relates to ‘the method and device for providing machine learning-based information.’ This patent is a technology that automatically analyzes and classifies similarities with item data already stored in the system by using AI-based natural language processing(NLP) when registering new items in the purchasing system.

In 2021, Emro completed the registration of a domestic patent with the contents. Based on this technology, Emro has developed AI software ‘SMART Item Doctor’ and has been providing it to leading companies in each industry, including Hyundai Oilbank, Korean Air, POSCO DX, and Hyundai Motor Company.

In addition, Emro has completed a total of seven AI-related patent applications in Japan and the United States, and the review is underway.
