(Seoul=NSPNEWS) = Hitejinro's sales exceeded 1 billion bottles year-on-year for the first time since the launch of Terra, an 11 % increase from last year.

With 23% annual growth, Terra sales has increased by 86% in 2022 since its release in 2019. The sales of Terra at bars and restaurants soared 33% compared to last year, taking up the largest share in the sales.

Amid Terra's sales growth in the overall bars, nightclubs and restaurants industry, it was more prominent in pubs and nightclubs than other channels, recording 85% growth year-on-year. Sales of draft beers also skyrocketed by 54% due to its popularity in chicken restaurants/pubs and festivals.

Household channels including supermarkets have led 26% annual growth since the release with a rise of 'at-home drinking' trend.

Hitejinro released beers in different can sizes (400ml/463ml) and in large 1.9 liter PET bottles last year, expanding options for consumers.

An accumulative amount of 3.6 billion bottled Terra has beed sold as of Feb this year since its launch in Mar 2019, equivalent to 29 bottles sold every second.
