Laneige launched its products at @cosme, a Japanese cosmetic portal, and its offline store in Harajuku Tokyo, on 14th Wednesday.

The Japanese review-based online beauty platform, @cosme, is seeking to develop O2O strategy to connect online store with offline store. As part of the effort, it has recently opened ‘@cosme TOKYO’ - an experiential flagship store - in Harajuku to expand its offline distribution channels.

Even before the official entry into Japan, Laneige has proven its popularity among local people as its products - Neo Cushion and Lip Sleeping Mask - topped the list of the cosmetic category in a Japanese review platform, LIPS.

With its advance into the Japanese market, Laneige will further showcase some of its global flagship products - Neo Cushion, Lip Sleeping Mask and Cica Sleeping Mask.

An official in Laneige said, “We’ve kept receiving calls and attention from local distribution channels since our flagship products went viral. We’re looking forward to expanding the presence of our leading products in Japan.”
