(Seoul=NSP News Agency) soon ki Lee Journalist = The number of member companies of ‘HDR10+’, a next-generation quality technology led by Samsung Electronics, surpassed 100.

HDR10+ is a high-definition image standard technology that optimizes brightness and contrast ratio for each scene in display devices such as TVs and mobile devices, thereby increasing the three-dimensional effect of images and realizing accurate color expression.

Currently, there are 103 HDR10+ members, with various companies participating, including TV and display companies(16), SoC manufacturers(21), content producers(20), software developers(32), and peripheral manufacturers(14).


In particular, as many global companies representing industries such as Qualcomm, Broadcom, AM, Amazon Video, Rakuten, 20th Century Fox, Panasonic, Philips, TCL, and Hisense are participating in certification programs, the expansion of HDR10+ ecosystem is taking place quickly.


Currently, the total number of HDR10+ certified products is 1,000, including TV(965), mobile devices(48) and Blu-ray devices(9), and the number of contents is also on the rise, expanding synergy across the home entertainment industry.
