(Seoul=NSP News Agency) soon ki Lee Journalist = Samsung Electronics has mass-produced 512GB of memory (gigabyte) eUFS 3.1 (embedded Universal Flash Storage 3.1) for smartphones, the fastest ever.

512GB eUFS 3.1 can store one FHD (5.0GB) movie in approximately 4 seconds with continuous write speeds (1,200MB/s) approximately three times faster than the existing 512GB eUFS 3.0

This product’s continuous read speed is 2100MB/s, random read and write speeds are 100,000 IOPS(input/output operations per second), and 70,000IOPS respectively, which has improved performance over the existing eUFS 3.0 product.

Equipped with 512GB eUFS 3.1 memory on a smartphone, 8K ultra-high-definition video or hundreds of high-capacity photos can be quickly stored, allowing consumers to experience the convenience of a level of an ultra-slim laptop.

In addition, when transferring 100GB of data to a new smartphone, the existing eUFS 3.0 memory-mounted phone takes more than 4 minutes, but about 1 minute and 30 seconds is enough for the eUFS 3.1-mounted phone.

Samsung Electronics plans to dominate the flagship smartphone memory market this year with the eUFS 3.1 product lineup, which consists of three capacities of 512GB, 256GB, and 128GB.
