(Seoul=NSP News Agency) jeonghyun go Journalist = Hyundai-Kia Motors has signed a business agreement(MOU) with Vodafone to provide its connected car service to European customers from early next year.

Under the agreement, Kia plans to install Ubo, Kia's connected car service, in its new vehicle model to be released from early next year and also Hyundai is going to launch BlueLink service sometime next year.

Hyundai-Kia Motors plans to expand its service by providing benefits to more than 32 regions in Europe after launching the service in major countries including the UK, Germany, France, Spain, etc.

Based on Vodafone's communications network, the connected car service which Hyundai-Kia Motors plans to provide to drivers in Europe will include GPS with real-time traffic information, local information services such as parking lot location, vehicle theft alert, voice recognition, vehicle location and check car status, etc.

Through a collaboration with Nuance, a top company in the states with highest technology in the industry, voice recognition service will be available in 8 languages such as English, French, German, etc., and domestically the service is now in progress with Kakao Corp.
