(Seoul=NSP News Agency) dILFUZA Sultanova Journalist = POSCO's (Chairman Kwon Oh Jun) total wire rod sales volume reached 60 million tons. It is long enough to wrap around the Earth 7793 times. Since the opening of Pohang Wire rod Factory in February 29, 1979, have passed 38 years 7 months.
POSCO produces wires with a diameter of 5mm - 42mm in Pohang factory. As well as preparing for the production of premium(WPWorld Premium) products, used in the production of materials for automobiles.
At the same time, in the future Pohang plans to enhance profitability and stable operation of the factory in the production of 100 million tonnes of wire.
