(Seoul=NSP News Agency) Jiye Kim Journalist = SK Telecom commercializes High Definition voice, or ‘HD voice’, allowing every phone users to enjoy fine quality voice and video calls. It is a ubiquitous service supporting the HD quality phone calls for not only SK users but also for three big phone carriers’ users.

With the commercialization of HD voice, SK utilizes variety of functions such as a video call which is eight times clearer than previous version, a high quality voice call, an easy voice-video call switching method, furthermore, sharing photos and videos while talking on the phone.

The sound quality of T Phone, SK’s All-IP-based integrated platform, also will be improved. Users could simply enjoy the advancement of new calling technology as there is no additional fees for using HD voice.

Fitting into this new ear of HD voice, SK is also planning to release diverse services including tentatively-named Smart Call Transfer Service, which enables users to make or receive a call via laptops and tablet PCs within this year.
