(Seoul=NSP News Agency) jonghyuk Kim Journalist = LG Electronics sued Dyson, an England vacuum cleaner company, for the deceptive advertisement at Australia federal court on last 12.

LG Electronics proclaimed that even though 'CordZero', their premium cordless vacuums, has stronger suction power than Dyson's, but Dyson is advertising their vacuum cleaner V6 as 'the most powerful cordless vacuums', and 'twice the suction power of any cordless vacuums' , which is misleading customers.

According to LG, the maximum suction power of 'CordZero' is 200W, twice stronger than V6 (maximum 100W) of Dyson.

'CordZero' has a smart inverter motor that is a core technology of LG and a battery pack designed by LG Chem.

The smart inverter motor is a BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) motor for cordless vacuums. It was originally invented by LG Electronics. They switched existing brush into electronic circuit, in the motor. So it has a three times longer lifetime than common motors, and realizes high efficiency and high performance.

'CordZero' has a Lithium-ion battery power pack, which is able to get to 80V as maximum output voltage. When it is charged for 4 hours, it is possible to use it for 40 minutes in normal mode, for 17 minutes in full-power mode.
